Turruwul Park Fitness Hub is the first of a network of future fitness equipment nodes that will be spread across the City of Sydney Local Government Area. The hub includes both static and dynamic fitness equipment, plus fixing points for imported equipment. The arranged compendium of hardscape spaces is intercepted by a small scale, stormwater management swale with refined brick detailing.
JILA initially produced the Park Fitness Plan 2015 which was a feasibility study into the intergration of fitness facilities into existing recreation areas within the City of Sydney LGA, and subsequently resolved the locations and size of each fitness hub.
