This little project replaced a popular swimming area on the dam, decommissioned to make way for a new spillway for Snowy 2. The jetty of the new boat launch ramp was extended and angled to form an edge to the swimming area, and a jumping in point away from boats. Accessibility is included – with a ramp into the water, and an accessible park.
The simplicity and robust materials are a good fit with the scale of the dam.
