The site is located on steep sandstone terrain rising up from the water at Hunters Hill. Existing terraces were adapted, and in some cases removed, to reveal underlying sandstone and original rough stone walls, to reconnect this landscape with its history and geology. A timber deck is introduced along the path to provide a structured, usable space within the planted landscape. The garden is floristically diverse, reintroducing endemic native grasses, ground covers and wildflowers, with sculptural agave and dracaena forming accent points. Front and side gardens are low care and sculptural, emphasising the clean lines of the building. The kitchen garden, located close to the house, provides a seasonal engagement with the garden.
